This place continues to make absolutely no sense - and the giant squid was certainly of no help whatsoever, despite apparently being opposed to our captors. Regardless, it's nice to see mroe of my friends showing up, even if they are from three or four years ago and remain trapped here with me. Despite all of that, my confidence remains high that we'll be able to find a way out of here. Eventually.

The only true setback seems to be that without electrical power, my laptop is now a glorified paperweight.

Hmm. I was awoken by a tremor of some sort this morning. I wasn't entirely aware that this place suffered from earthquakes as well. That's a bit like home, anyway. Regardless, so far nothing's been damaged.... however, the aftershocks have been going on for quite some time, so... perhaps it's not an earthquake per say. I'll have to investigate further....

[There's a pause of a few minutes before he comes back to add:]

...there seems to be a flying saucer outside. That's... not as improbable as everything else that's happened.


[Locked to Taichi]

Taichi, are you doing alright? I've been worried about you.

This place seems to operate without any rhyme or reason; people vanishing back to their home universes, others being whisked away for 'experiments', voices simply being removed with some sort of surgical precision. None of this seems to match with any scientific criteria whatsoever! How am I supposed to accurately record any sort of data if it refuses to acknowledge any rhyme or reason or even the laws of the physical universe as we know them?

[The journal starts to fill with neat, precise handwriting.]

Things are settling down for me here. Then again, I'm used to this sort of thing, so it is to be expect. That aside, I don't believe I introduced myself to the community at large the last time I inadvertently used this journal. So, allow me to introduce myself to all of you!

I'm Koushiro Izumi, from Japan and I'm a friend of Taichi and Hikari's.

[There's a rustle of leaves and grass as whoever is on the other end sits up. A brief period of silence and then speech, very faint, like someone is talking to themselves.]

...how very odd. I hadn't expected something like this to happen to me again. Then again, I didn't expect it the first time either. I supposed I've been pulled into the Digital World again, although... if I'm here, shouldn't the others as well? And Tentomon?

[Another period of silence.]

...what's this? A journal? And a blank one at that. Wait-

Wings? That's... highly improbable. I wonder if they function.
